As a literary genre, Drama is comprised of the impact of actions made by emotional characters in conflict performed in front of an audience with the intention to incite an emotional response and provoke thought. As such, teaching Drama requires interactive and collaborative learning in a safe space where students can explore language, story telling, character development and world building. This three-hour workshop provides teachers with an overview of the elements of Drama, a basic toolkit for developing focal areas in each age group, and a platform for exchanging teaching ideas and building lesson plans.
