The course aims to equip teachers with knowledge and skills in psychological safety and creating safe spaces in the classroom. More importantly, it hopes to develop mindsets among teachers that engender empathy and understanding towards students who may need psychosocial support. Basic attending skills and first response skills will be included.

At the end of the workshop, participants are expected to:
1. Define and explain the concept of psychological safety in its different forms.
2. Identify ways in which psychological safe spaces may be created for their students within
their unique contexts.
3. Propose ways of establishing inclusive practices and classroom techniques that allow
students to learn best and thrive in their school environments.
