Creating Psychological Safe Space in the Classroom 

A workshop on awareness of and understanding forms of psychological safety and how psychological safe spaces are a necessary context not only for student learning but also for student thriving. Topics include inclusive practices and adopting the necessary mindsets as educators in dealing with Gen Z and Gen Alpha learners.

At the end of the workshop, participants will have learned the concept of psychological safety and how this translates to teaching strategies in the classroom and to workplace leadership practices. At the end of the workshop, participants are expected to:

1. Define and explain the concept of psychological safety in its different forms.

2. Identify ways in which psychological safe spaces may be created for their students within their unique contexts.

3. Propose ways of establishing inclusive practices and classroom techniques that allow students to learn best and thrive in their school environments.
