In this workshop, teachers will explore their role in facilitating meaningful learning in both face-to-face and online modalities. Whether planned or shaped by unforeseen circumstances, teaching across these modalities requires educators to make informed pedagogical decisions about when, why, and how to use each modality. This workshop equips teachers with strategies to design and facilitate flexible learning experiences that leverage the strengths of each modality, cultivating a more responsive and effective teaching practice.
At the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to:
Differentiate the pedagogical strengths and limitations of face-to-face and online learning modalities;
Apply strategies for designing and facilitating and interactions across different teaching modalities; and
Design a flexible learning plan that integrates appropriate modalities to achieve desired learning outcomes.
