The Philippines, like many other countries, has initiated the reform of its national curriculum in light of the challenge to better prepare students for the future. This school year, schools all over the country will start implementing the new Matatag K10 curriculum. What are the key features of the Matatag curriculum? How can schools efficiently, effectively, and feasibly implement the Matatag curriculum? This seminar-workshop will explore the answers to these questions. It also hopes to equip participants to implement this mandated large-scale national reform initiative in ways that consider their unique school contexts and create curriculum maps to facilitate curriculum planning.
